THIS Sunday, April 5th, Walking Tours Manhattan is holding a DESSERT walking tour in the East Village. I love the idea that you can find desserts and burn off the calories at the same time!
Each month, they go to different neighborhoods for a small fee, but the best part about this 1 mile, 2 hr. tour is that it’s FREE. You have the option to donate $5 to feed the hungry (100% goes to charity).
You can buy desserts at will though, so I would say this is best for people who really don’t know the area all that well.

Where: East Village, starts at Momofuku bakery, 207 2nd Ave. at 13th St. and ends at Bespoke Chocolates at 6 Extra Place
When: Sun, Apr. 5th, 2009; 11am-1pm
