Sabeen, your birthday definitely hosted the most delicious cakes of ’09. I’m normally not a cake person if not homemade, but these were just too good. To further put it in perspective, I normally don’t even like raspberry in chocolate, much less in cake, and I still thought the raspberry-chocolate creation hit the spot. It had a raspberry sauce filling and layers of vanilla cake and raspberry cream.
She also had the most interesting looking dome-shaped chocolate mousse cake (yes I know, she get’s two…where’s the justice??). It looked a little too intense for me so I just asked for a sliver, not expecting how soft it would be, and ended up taking two. Don’t worry, I took photos of the deliciousness for you all. Sheesh, have a little faith.
