Schiller’s is a buzzy restaurant on Rivington and Norfolk with a lot of character, bragging a stylish crowd and comfortable ambiance. It’s hard to miss the restaurant’s fluorescent yellow sign on the otherwise plain block.
This was a while ago, and I’m pretty sure the gnocchi was the special of the day, so it’s not on their regular menu. The food was really good, but the only catch is the price:size ratio for your plates — small-medium sized portions that you drop dime for and sometimes leaves you wanting more to be had.

The best thing about Schiller’s is that it’s right across the street from Tiny’s Giant Sandwich Shop!
