Godiva Legacy Truffle making!

Making my own Godiva truffle!
Making my own Godiva truffle!

In celebration of their 60 years in the truffle-making biz, Godiva hosted a mini-tour of their iconic truffles in midtown yesterday. My friend Archana of lettuceveg.com joined me for the chocolate tasting, which ended with a chance to make our very own Godiva chocolates with master choclatier, Thierry Muret!

And the best part…making our own truffles! They let us bring our artistic side out by giving us different colored frosting, toppings, and sprinkles to decorate our sweets with after dipping them in melted chocolate.

So happy I can now say I made real Godiva chocolates! The handmade chocolate “G” by Thierry though…yeah…might take some practice. Every truffle was so amazingly good though, it’s hard to say which one I liked best!

The Godiva Legacy Collection with options from all these delicious truffles will come in boxes ranging from $18-$85 this fall, www.godiva.com.
