Tonight, we celebrated my dear friend, Jeannine’s, blog launch at the Townhouse Spa in midtown. What better way to honor the beginning of a her beauty blog, Beauty Sweet Spot, than by indulging in some fun beauty treatments? The tri-level spa had people getting complimentary manis, foot/back massages, eyelash and hair extensions, makeup and hairstyles. And I loved that there was a chocolate fountain in between treatments. Very well done, Jeannine!
I got a manicure done there and decided to try out a denim blue color that stood out to me, Mesmerize by Essie.
I’m still deciding how I feel about it, but it keeps catching people’s eyes and they say they’re digging it. Maybe they were just being nice? I dunno, what do you think?

Personally, I find blue hard to wear unless you are in denim mode from head to toe, but it’s fun for a change. You shouldn’t take your nails too seriously! Looks good on you
