New York Rangers left winger (and former Vogue intern), Sean Avery, opened up (what else?) a sports bars/restaurant in Tribeca with partners Chris Miller and Matt Abramacyk, called Warren 77, after its street address.

“I wanted to create a place that incorporated my passion for New York sports and the city’s amazing sense of style. For me, to go to a bar to watch sports is really tough—sports bars in America can be kind of horrifying. The environment is always too hard-core. Today, I had lunch at Warren 77 and we were all sitting around watching the Muhammad Ali documentary ‘Thrilla in Manila.'”
OK, all I’m thinking right now is how I just wish I was there to hear him say Thrilla in Manila. *giggle*
