I told you guys I’d let you know about my favorite gel pot liners! While IsaDora is my new affair, once I discovered gel pot liners, I was hooked. Now I use them for any big events. The ones I’m currently using are Clinique’s Brush-On Cream Liner in True Black and Deep Brown ($14.50 each). I’ll use the brown over the black when I want a more subtle look, but they’re both phenomenal.

They come with a brush, but I actually use them with a thinner Stila’s precision eyeliner brush. Here’s why this rocks:

  • Rich color: It makes your eyes pop without having to deal with a liquid mess. It dries closer to a liquid consistency, but not as glossy.
  • Easy to control: Wouldn’t say it’s as easy as IsaDora’s, but when I discovered these after avoiding liquid forever, it has always been my go to.
  • Colors lasts forever WITHOUT smearing: Definitely the best perk of gel pot liners. They just never smear once they’re on. I wear a little on top and a little on the inner lower lid, and they’ll stay on all day looking fresh.
  • It lasts FOREVER: I’ve had mine for a couple years (and I use them A LOT) and I still have half left. The price isn’t even an issue if you’re a liner person. This will go a long way.

    • I’ve also given a crack at MAC’s Fluidline gel liner ($15). It’s also great, but the main difference is that it’s a little more softer than Clinique’s. I actually like Clinique’s a tad better because it’s just a little more easier to control for me, but that’s a total preference thing. But I love hearing about gel liners from different brands because so many have them!

      i have used mascara as gel eyeliner before and it worked great..especially a really dark & glossy one. use a regular eyeliner brush and dip it into the mascara tube, works just liek a gel eyeliner. i love when a beauty product is useful for multiple things.

      i tried wet & wild eye pot liner for the first time this weekend. it’s $3.99 at duane reade and i love it! despite the heat and humidity it stayed put and didn’t smudge even the tiniest bit.
