Family outing at Lucky Strike in Soho

I have kind of a huge family in the area, and we pretty much are dispersed in the NY/NJ area. We get together regularly for big events, but making random plans to get together otherwise in groups of more than two almost never works.

So, today we were so excited that eight of us — eight! — spontaneously enough ended up in Soho, and all ready to get our grub on. Hamid, who co-owns the clothing boutique Operations (yes, shameless plug there), knows the area best, so he suggested Lucky Strike (no not the bowling alley, there’s also a restaurant downtown). Their happy hour is kind of amazing: $5 burgers, mussels, and calamari, and $3 fries.

The burgers were small but soo filling, and I love that the fries were crispy (a whole plate for $3 too!). Though I think Hamid loves the food the most. He kept saying so every five seconds, so I had to get his take on it:

So there you go.
