Lunch at Black Iron Burger Shop

Stopped by here one weekend for lunch a whiles ago. I just remember it being really stuffy inside since it was too cold in October then to keep the windows open, so I was a little skeptical of how the food would taste.

They played great music, and the place has an old-time bar feel to it. We ordered a BIB burger with cheese and a patty melt.

They were actually both reallly good from what I remember. I think they were around $6-$7 too, so not too bad.

I do remember my patty melt tasting great; I usually need everything super well done, but the meat tasted just right with the rye bread. A lot of reviewers have complained about wait time and undercooked meat. I just remember when I went it was fairly empty, so the wait time wasn’t too bad. But I think I have to go once again to figure out how much I love it. I’m already mapping out my next visit now that I’ve dug up these pictures. Just maybe this time, I won’t wait til the weather gets cold.
