I’ve been to STK once before and devoured everything in sight. I was so excited to be invited for a private tasting with the award winning Executive Chef, Todd Mark Miller at the dressed-in-black chic restaurant. I was treated to bite-size deliciousness of menu items, many of which I haven’t had before and loved everything…EVERYTHING. Even the seafood, which I don’t normally eat, that includes tuna, skate, and crab meat.
Here are some pics, though I have to apologize in advance if some of them are a little blurry — it’s not easy taking pics in dim lighting!
And they saved the best for last!
The restaurant itself is a bit pricey but I’ll still go back for a nice night out to spoil myself.

we need to talk about the camera you’re using. orrrr you can take me to these fancy places as your photographer! haha. like that will happen with sk clamoring for burgers! or maybe you should get a mini tripod. it extends to about 6 inches, very compact and easy to use.

But yeah i def need to upgrade…i seriously took like 15 pics of every bite but these are the best that showed up! Maybe you can teach me more about camera settings too

Today I had two food photographers stop Bunnie and I as we devoured a coconut cake at Doma in the West Village. They wanted to take a picture of the destruction. i wonder if those pics turned out anything like urs?

This looks incredible. The only place I get invited to private tastings for are desi restaurants due to my excessive event planning past in undergrad where I catered extensively from Devon. Score.
