A taste of the exotic Vosges Haut-Chocolate

We passed by Vosges Haut-Chocolate on Spring Street and they were giving away endless samples of their exotic chocolate. The Chicago-based chocolatiers are known to incorporate ingredients from all over the world (think spices, curries, fruits, and nuts) into their chocolate.

(I’m sorry you’re going to get a lot of iPhone pics today.)

I wasn’t really into this truffle above (it tasted like a mix of coconut and butter), but even better were their chocolate bar samples that were especially rich. Maybe I’m just not into the super different chocolate tastes. Almonds alone are enough to make me happy.
