Umm what would you do if you went for a haircut and THIS happened…

One of my friends (who is basically known for his crazy haircuts) went to his usual barber place recently, and midway into the cut, blood started gushing out from my friend’s ear…his barber accidentally snipped at his ear! He sent me a cleaned up version of the aftermath:

I asked him what he did, and he said he just got a free haircut and products:

When it happened, the guy was told not to cut my hair anymore, and the guy i usually ask for (who wasn’t available when I first walked in) dropped everything and finished my hair cut. The entire staff almost was helping me bandage it and asked if i was OK, and as I left the entire staff stood in line and waved goodbye to me, which was awkward while i had a bandage covering my right ear.

I’m REALLY curious to know: What you would do if your hairstylist accidentally cut something other than your hair? Would you go back if it’s your regular stylist? Has this ever happened to you?

Everyone deserves a second chance. Okay, not EVERYONE, but it looks to be an honest mistake and I’m sure he learned from it. Don’t hold it against him 🙂

once i was getting my eyebrows waxed and the lady dropped hot wax right in the middle of one of my brows! and the worst thing was, she was trying to cover it up and started coloring it in and i was like what are you doing and then she confessed to it…and that was the last time i got my eyebrows waxed. they didn’t charge me for it but i rather pay the $8 and have full eyebrows than have half of a brow for free. i’m not into pencilling in my brows.

Once when I was getting my hair cut, the hairstylist was leaning over me and accidentally cut her own hair instead of mine. This is what happens when you get your hair cut by trainees. But at least she didn’t maim me–or herself.

hahahhaa oh nooo…you guys have had interesting experiences. The worst that’s happened to me is just a few times when the hair dryer had been kept too close to my scalp to a point of what felt like 1st degree burns. I kept my mouth shut cuz I kept thinking I’d be disturbing the stylist…that was silly now in retrospect.
