Delicious mac n’ cheese at Cafeteria

(Seriously, I don’t know why I’m always in Chelsea these days either).

I was desperate for some girl time, and when I called up my friend Shahla for a quick afternoon bite, she suggested we take it to Cafeteria. This place is open 24/7 and specializes in comfort (read: so bad for you yet so good) food.

Its also probably most recognized lately for its cameo in Season One of The City. Ok fine, maybe I’m the only one who noticed that.

Anyway, we indulged in a super cheesey, super filling bowl of mac n’ cheese with truffle oil. I think I could feel myself expanding with every bite, but it was soooo good.

The mac n’ cheese itself is $8, but add in 3 well-worth-it bucks for the truffle oil.

Please be warned its looks are deceiving…it comes out in a relatively small bowl but it is HEAVY — meaning I could barely eat anything else the rest of the day. Or move. Or breathe.

But nothing like a good bowl of mac n’ cheese done gluttonously right.
