This place has not disappointed so far: Westville East.

They have another location, Westville West, in the West Village which I haven’t visited yet. But, if you go, anything below is not a bad bet:

Smoky mac and cheese, $7

Veggie burger with mushrooms and spicy tartar sauce, $10

Burger, well done with cheddar cheese, $11

The smoky mac n’ cheese appetizer is creamy and the grated cheese on top just melts in your mouth. The burgers look unassuming, but the veggie has a very soft, tangy taste. I loved my regular burger well done — very tasty and so filling, especially with the side of crispy, seasoned fries. I couldn’t eat anything else for the rest of the day.
