i got bare minerals stuff a few years ago and was thoroughly impressed by how naturalit looked and how well it covered. i didn’t get how it was possible. specifically, i would like this smoky eye tutorial bc ive always wanted to learn how to do a smoky eye and i am incompetent. thanks!

Ok I hate bare minerals foundation cuz it makes your face look all powdery and pictures make your face look white and pale like you are wearing talcon powder. BUT I do have 3 of their eyeshadows and I love them. They are nicely pigmented. Thank you.

i love bare minerals b/c its the non-makeup makeup. the fact that you can fall asleep in it and not worry abt your skin was what sold me. and i love smokey eyes b/c well… i don’t know of any other look! plus, with this prize i promise to provide an in-depth how-to on the smokey eye look. following their instructions of course! let’s be real Shy, id do that anyway for you =P

I had a problem… but hopefully its fixed now. (no obvious jokes here please)
Hana — sounds like you’re either using too much or the wrong color, or both. The first time I got bare minerals, the lady convinced me to buy a color that was too dark, n for a month i looked like an oompa loompa. Once I finally found the right color for myself, it looked great. Always start out with a little, and if you want more coverage, go back again a 2nd time, rather than putting a lot on in 1 go. Thats what will end up making it hard to blend in and looking chalky. Also, one thing I’ve started doing with BE that helps it hold and blend is to prime with tinted moisturizer. I like CG smoothers — good quality and affordable. Also tinted moisturizer is sheer, so its hard to go wrong with the color.

I actually love bare minerals, I never found it powdery like some people say, in fact, I like the light coverage it provides – it hardly looks like you are wearing anything. I’ve never tried the eyeshadows though, so interested in seeing how they are!

Hey Shy! Well I’ll admit, I’m not too familiar with Bare Minerals but I’ve heard great things and I definitely wouldn’t mind trying them out! Plus I love the smoky eyes look and would simply love having a kit just for that!

ohhhh, Smokey eye look with some natural lipstick for the ultimate win!
So, I’ve used BE for some time now and can say it’s pretty awesome stuff. Either you’re a fan or not. I personally, have PLENTY of flaws that need some major coverage. For me, BE is all about that and gives me a natural look at the same time and I hardly have reapply throughout the day They also have some great spf 15 foundations that help me with the extra coverage without the cakey flaky look. And no I’m not a BE spokesperson but can be if they want
I say, “BE” flawless.

I really like their finishing powder. I also like the loose eyeshadows because they are much easier to blend for a smokey or wispy effect.

I like bare minerals, because I feel like it lives up to its name. It feels natural and light on your skin and hardly makes it evident that you are wearing power. Most people I know have tried it and never looked back, so clearly they’re doing something right.

I have been quite impressed with BE for some time! The face powder provides even coverage and feels so light on my skin. I have sensitive skin and tend to react to anything that is not suitable for my skin– but BE is natural, flawless and feels like I have nothing on my skin. I try BE’s eyeshadows when I stop by Sephora from time-to-time, and I absolutely love the look and feel.

loved it when i had clear skin way back when cuz it made my skin glowy, but ever since my skins been crap it made me look all powdery and cakey.blehh. but sometimes i use a very light dusting to set my laura mercier tinted moisturizer

I love everything bareminerals. I love their eyeshadows because you can either wear them powdery or add a little bit of water and really make it pop on your eyes. I also have been wanting to purchase this kit.
