Guys: would you use products from a company named Hey Dude?

OK, so for me, “Hey Dude” conjures up memories of the Nickelodeon show, but now it’s taking on a whole new meaning in men’s skin care.

Hey Dude, a new men's skin care company

Hey Dude Skin Care is hoping to answer men’s skin care needs with products ranging from $16-$59. According to their site, a man’s skin is approximately 20% thicker than a woman’s, and more firm because it’s richer in collagen and elastin (you bastards).

BUT, because you guys sweat more, your skin tends to be oilier and more prone to dehydration from shaving. While signs of aging normally occur a little later for men, it is more marked when the dermis layer decreases around the age of 40-50.

The whimsical name aside (and we’re just going to ignore the silhouette of David on the bottles for now), the line does have some interesting products, many of which contain hyaluronic acid, a water-retaining complex sugar that hydrates and firms your skin.

Nary Hairy, $46

And for all you guys who complain about shaving (basically, all of you), they offer Nary Hairy, a post-shaving hair inhibiter for your face and body. They claim it decreases hair length up to 30% and hair density up to 16%.

The questionable: Perfect Mineral Bronzing Brush. Bronzer for guys? I guess a Miami-based company would think of that.

Would you guys try Hey Dude? I’m curious like that.
