“I’m a former reporter and television personality turned entrepreneur. I created HealthyStyleNY.com after someone asked me, ‘What is your passion?’ Beauty, wellness, and spreading the good word on what’s hot and healthy in NYC is!”

My style is: Simple but stylish.

My favorite designer right now is: I always love Cynthia Rowley. I think in part because I did a story with her in my TV days and she was great.

People usually compliment my: eyes

For my skin, I use: a constant rotation of products! Right now I am using Canyon Ranch’s line. However, one standard (maybe surprising) staple is Eucerin— it moisturizes like no other!

My favorite makeup tip: Less is more.

Current beauty product obsession: Armani’s Black Gem Palette (bronzer/powder and cream blush all in one compact) because a good bronzer is so necessary! Oh — and I am loving Purple Lab‘s products. Their creator rocks!

But I also can’t live without: Lancome Definicils— my lashes get ridiculous.

My favorite scent right now: I just got a new one for spring from Givenchy called “Dance With Givenchy.” It’s light and fresh with overtones of floral & fruit. Perfect for spring/summer. I also love Bvlgariand YSL.

People might be surprised to know: that I actually am a Canadian citizen too. My parents had a ski house in Quebec where both my brother and I were born, and now we both hold duel citizenship (even though we’ve spent almost our entire lives in the US of A!).

My favorite hair product is: Redken Smooth Down, Kerastase Bain Volumactive (love) and actually Garnier Fructis hair spray is my latest go-to (it loves my hair more the the expensive ones). Wait that’s 3!

I don’t understand people who don’t like: Sushi. Well, I guess I can understand not liking raw fish, but I am SO addicted.

The restaurants I can never get tired of are: Sushi Samba and Aquamarine (again with the sushi addiction!). Oh, and Peasant too (love the warm atmosphere and Italian is at the top of my list too).

Though I can make a mean: pot of sauce with meatballs. The Italian genes come out!

Who and what inspires me: People who give without expecting in return…and a good sunset on the beach.

I like her necklace. She could pass for Celine Dion’s little sister. If by chance this woman thinks Celine Dion is not attractive, don’t tell her I said that. I mean it as a compliment. Also, as a statement of fact, because look at her. She could TOTALLY pass for at least a distant relative. Are we allowed to give style tips here? (I heard ‘yes’) That shirt is cute, but I’d do it with a tank underneath. I don’t think that sort of “accidental” see-through bra look is all that appealing on anyone. And it is especially unflattering in natural light. If what I just said was rude, please refer back to when I said she looks like Celine Dion. Unless of course she doesn’t find Ms. Dion attractive.
