CoverGirl Mascaras – LashBlast Length and LashBlast Fusion

Moving on to eyes, I’m kind of a sucker for packaging, so when I first laid eyes on CoverGirl’s yellow tube of LashBlast Length, I was waiting for the chance to see what it was about. Lucky for me, I got my hands on not only Length but LashBlast Fusion — which builds on my favorite LashBlast mascara (I compared it to DiorShow last month here) and lengthens in addition to volumizing.

Deep breath.

LashBlast Length first. This says what it does and will lengthen and separate lashes without clumping and without giving you Tammy Faye Baker tarantula lashes. In fact, it’s very minimal and great for a simple everyday mascara.

In case you are into Baker’s lashes (no judgment) but a very tamed/beautiful version, LashBlast Fusion is where it’s at. I can’t believe it gets better than the cult favorite LashBlast original, but it has.

Which one would you go for?

Ooh. Very day and night. The first one is really pretty. Like, if I could see the rest of you, I’d expect to see you in a white eyelet top, dewy highlight on your face, and a soft pink gloss on your lips. The other one looks like you’d have on a royal blue something that sparkles(!) and like motorcycle booties. Wow, this comment makes me sound like I want to go les.
