If you’re looking for a way to cool off (or escape this ridiculous humidity), make your way to Sundaes and Cones. The company was born in Brooklyn and moved to the East Village in 2006. They offer delicious homemade ice cream, including some strange flavors — wasabi, ginger, corn. But if you’re not that adventurous, they also have the standards. I went for pistachio with almond:
