The glitz and glam of the Emmys 2010 Red Carpet

So, I’m usually too lazy to post red carpet posts, but I managed to gather my favorite looks (some for their hair/makeup, some for their dresses) from the Emmys 2010.

Eva Longoria Parker

Ok. I’m not a huge Eva Longoria Parker fan, but she nailed the glam black Robert Rodriquez dress this time, and I loved her elegant updo.

Emily Blunt

Marriage did something to Emily Blunt, because I can’t say I really had noticed her before. That said, her Christian Dior dress was nice, but her hair/makeup combo was stellar.

Emily Blunt

Gray blue-shadows and pale pink lip = WIN.

Kim Kardashian
Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum and Kim Kardashian both rocked Marchesa and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. How can Heidi, 37-year-old mother of four, get away with a super mini dress? I don’t know, but she does and does it well. I was obsessing over Kim’s twisty hair. I was hoping for something a little more exciting than a white from her, but she looked as Grecian as she said she felt before stepping out on the red carpet.

Kelly Osbourne

I never thought Kelly Osbourne would make my list of favorites, but she looked so classy with her simple makeup and black Tony Ward Couture dress. So happy to see she ditched the hot pink hair and heavy liner for a natural make-under. Anyone else notice she lost a hella weight? She credits it to working out hard core for half an hour everyday. Given the new sophisticated look, I wouldn’t doubt it.

Dianna Agron

Who is this girl? I have no idea. Totally had to Google her. Realized because I don’t watch Glee that I didn’t recognize half the faces last night, including Dianna Agron. Loved everything from her hair to her Carolina Herrera gown. Gorgeous.

Lea Michele

Did I already tell you how much I loved Lea Micheles dress? If I didn’t, I just want to put it out there now how much I love her Oscar de la Renta dress.

Oh, and I decided to give a Cutest Couple Award, and that goes to the newly-married Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.

Cutest Couple Award

It wasn’t easy for me to come around and accept that he’s totally taken, but I think I can get over it after last night.

What were your favorite looks?

  1. I die for Dianna Agron’s Carolina Herrera too. I had no idea who she was either, clearly I need to get my Glee on.

I’m not a huge Lea Michele fan, but she looked good (and has also lost lots of weight), plus I love her statement neckalace.

Claire Danes looked exquisite. Her Giorgio Armani literally shone on TV – photos don’t do it justice.

I thought most people brought their fashion A-game, not too many “wtfs” like the Oscars earlier this year.

Apparently Kim Kardashian wanted to wear a different dress, but something happened last -minute so this was her backup.

I love to be surprised so my picks are the risk takers. I know they’re not popular opinion but they really made me look twice- January Jones & Anna Paquin. Claire Danes was stunning.

This is actually my first time seeing Dianna’s dress & I’m in awe.

My Best Dressed was Kim K but after seeing Dianna, she takes the cake!
