Winter concealer: Benefit Fake Up

Benefit gave me a pretty, feathery fan and asked me to pose. So I did.

A chapter from the beauty blogger transgressions: Lately I’ve been averaging less than 5 hours of sleep on weekdays. But Benefit’s latest, Fake Up has has been aiding me in being deceptively well-rested.

Benefit Fake Up

The twist-up undereye concealer comes in 3 shades (light, medium, and dark..I use Medium), and applies like butter. The standout feature of this concealer though is the ring of moisturizer — a healthy dose of vitamin E and apple seed extract for immediate hydration — around a core of color.

The fusion of the two properties help you cover those circles with their light-diffusing concealer without worrying about pesky creases for at least 6 hours. To make it easy on yourself, dab it around your eyes directly with the bullet, and then smooth with your ring finger to help it disappear in your skin.

.

Especially during cold, drying months like these, this concealer helps keep things dewy. What concealer do you use during colder days?

Benefit Fake Up is available at sephora.com, and benefitcosmetics.com for $24.
