SDK by Sana Durvesh Khan

Reflections

I don’t do too many style pics, but I’ll always make an exception for SDK by Sana Durvesh Khan pieces. Her gowns are so elegant and beautiful, so when she asked me to style this gorgeous black and gold beaded piece, I was happy to oblige.

I could have waited for my trip to LA to do this mini shoot under more pleasant conditions, but while I was in Chicago, I really loved the idea of taking the pics around the contrasting winter snow. I literally had an hour to dress this up and head to the airport, but luckily, I had some good friends to help me pull it off! The lace sleeves and velvet cuffs are such a pretty touch, too. Love how the stitching and layering of this piece makes it so flowey and graceful when you walk. Email her if you have any requests, she customizes each piece to the individual. They are always breathtakingly beautiful.
