The minute I saw an email from Lise Watier displaying their new Rouge Gourmand Velour shades, I needed to try it, because look:

The new lipsticks are on the matte side, but not lip-drying matte. It has more of a soft, velvet finish to it. They’re named after desserts (Red Velvet, Sundae, Cake Pop, Pumpkin Pie) which made me love them more, ‘natch. But more importantly, they’re highly pigmented colors and even collagen-restoring ingredient that gives lips a lift (I haven’t worn it long enough to confirm, but I did like that it didn’t make my lips feel dry). The colors can brighten your whole look up — check em out:
