Dove recently killed two birds with one stone by inviting bloggers to congregate at the top floor of the Hearst building a few weeks ago to meet their new summer correspondents and their brand new line of body mists.

…but I won’t…because they’re actually soap. Melissa discovered these food soaps from (appropriately named) LoveLeeSoaps sold at Etsy. They look freakishly real, contain smoothing shea butter and range from $3.50-$9.50. Plus…they would make the cutest favors for your next themed party.

Now, with Earth Day right around the corner (April 22nd!), brands like Pure & Natural have stepped up their game to help an environmentally-conscious cause. They’ve partnered up with World Wildlife Fund, an organization committed to conserving nature, to make an annual donation of at least $100,000.

Model and host of Bravo’s Top Chef, Padma Lakshmi, has partnered with Dial NutriSkin to benefit a cause that hits a personal chord with her – endometriosis, a condition which Lakshmi herself has struggled with for years.

“As a model, I understand the importance of looking good on camera, which is why I indulge in healthy beauty treats with nourishing ingredients such as Dial NutriSkin Body Wash,” says Padma. “However, I realize that beauty is not skin deep and that giving back is what truly makes me feel beautiful. This is why I am working with Dial to raise money for my charity—an organization that supports women affected by endometriosis.”

I can’t say I was always big on Dial as a body wash. As a hand soap, their stuff is excellent. Though, when I tried their body wash years ago, I felt like it was a little harsh for my skin. I would actually even get a little irritated from the formula! I had pretty much glossed over their washes at the store since. But I guess things change. I was sent over their latest to try: Dial NutriSkin which just launched this month.

The two fruity washes, they say, leaves skin moisturized from its cationic polymer, which attaches during cleansing which will stay on your skin instead of going down the drain. The green one also has microbeads infused with fruit oil from the Mediterranean wine region.
