Kabaabs done right: Kabul Kabab House in Queens
This is my favorite Afghani/Persian restaurant, Kabul Kabab House. Beats Ravagh in midtown any day.

Starter salads with entrees

Combination platter with mantoo and badenjan buranee, $9.95
Kebobs galore at Ravagh, Persian grill
Yesterday, we celebrated my friend’s birthday at Ravagh, a Persian restaurant in midtown. Pretty much everyone ordered a kebob plate, the restaurant’s specialty.

Chicken Stip Kebob, $14
I got the Chicken Strip Kebob ($14). I don’t know why I always go for this, forgetting that I have ordered it previously and I actually don’t love it. It’s a little too dry, even though I tried to douse it in white sauce and Sumak spices. The food there is REALLY filling, which I think Persian food that I’ve had tends to be. I only ate half of my plate and I was stuffed.
