Brunch at Sarabeth’s Kitchen
Continuing on with my friends-sending-me-delicious-food-emails, this one’s from brunch at Sarabeth’s Kitchen. The last time I went there myself was a couple years ago, and
The pumpkin waffle looks pretty original, with sunflower seeds, “ginormous” raisins, and honey syrup which my friend described as “the perfect compliment to the pumpkin” and filling. Below is a picture of the veggie frittata, good but not as exciting as the different-tasting waffle.
Brunch at Michael’s Genuine in Miami Beach
I loved the carmelized onions in the sour cream and onion dip that came with the thick cut potato chips. The warm homemade doughnuts were also another fave, while my friend Sarah was salivating over the pop tarts.
The juices were so fresh and delicious. Caffeine is a must in the morning, and as for the juice, pineapple really stood out to me in taste.
We had so many egg dishes, but hands down, the Kimchi Benedict was the best. We also had an egg dish with lamb pieces, spanish tortilla, and an extra small fried egg sandwich, but the Kimchi just had a little more kick to it. Oh and the double egg yolk – it’s oven roasted and I didn’t expect to like it (especially since I generally like to avoid yolk), but it was surprisingly good.
Antique Cafe in Flatiron
Yesterday, I used my first Groupon ever ever (of course it was on food). They had a deal to get $20 worth of food for $10 at Antique Cafe and I thought it’d be a good excuse to check out a new place for brunch with a fellow foodie (Archana of LettuceVeg.com).
Breakfast at Cafe Cluny – West Village
There is hardly anything better than starting your day at a bistro in one of NY’s cutest neighborhoods. Such was my day last week.
I met my two friends, Lisa and Ashley, there for breakfast. Lisa, who is all about the West Village, suggested we try out Cafe Cluny.
CRAVING OF THE DAY: BREAKFAST, PLEASE.
Eggs, fresh fruit, muffins, danish, home fries all piled on top of each other for breakfast in Canada for Yumza’s wedding. Yum.

How breakfast in Prague looks like…
Well, for some at least…
My cousin, who’s visiting Prague, sent me a pic of her first morning meal at the Intercontinental Hotel on Pařížská Street:

breakfast in prague
Oatmeal with strawberries and chopped walnuts and “the freshest orange juice ever.” Love all the fruits and veggies…looks a LOT healthier than my breakfast
The funny thing is she said when they got there around 8 am, they said they’re not serving breakfast…so they said it’s OK, they’ll just order room service and eat it right there hahaha. Nice one.
