Prada cake from Sugar Drop
This past weekend, my friend Sabine had a “Bride wears Prada”-themed bridal shower. Sugar Drop took care of the desserts with a customized pink cake. It was complemented with cupcakes bearing equally high end fashion labels.
Moroccan inspired pastries, Masmoudi, Paris
This pastry shop in Paris looked so pretty from the outside, we had to stop in and see. Didn’t get to try anything this time but did manage to take some shots.

Craving of the Day: Sugar Drop Cupcakes
So, I already told you guys how awesome Sugar Drop cupcakes and cakes are. Yesterday, I had another delicious creation from them at a baby shower where the theme was Le Petit Prince (“The Little Prince”). THE best red velvet cupcakes I’ve had yet. So soft and perfect.

Craving of the Day: Almond Bread Pudding – Sweet Melissa
“I’m not the biggest fan of bread pudding, that is until I tried the almond bread pudding at Sweet Melissa Patisserie in Park Slope. The almond bread is just the right amount of sweet to complement the tangy raspberry sauce, and they never fail to serve it warm and toasty. Combine that with a maple latte, and you’re in heaven.”
