Sprinkles cupcakes in Chicago
By Summar Ghias

Chances are, you’ve heard of the LA cupcake shop Sprinkles before – or at least you should have after seeing the mini mounds of goodness make a guest appearance on Entourage. Regardless, the newest and first location to reach the Windy City caused quite the ruckus for ritzy Gold Coasters ready for a mid-shopping snack.
Candice Nelson and her husband founded the original Beverly Hills cupcake shop in April 2005. Since then, the cupcakes have acquired a celeb following with notables including Tyra Banks, Katie Holmes, Oprah Winfrey and Russell Crowe.
The Wormhole Coffee in Wicker Park, Chicago
By Summar Ghias
It was the second non-chain coffeehouse I stumbled onto in my trot around Wicker Park for java, but Wormhole Coffee left quite the impression. My friend and I had spontaneously wandered around the hipster neighborhood in general discovery mode, only to find ourselves at the storefront in awe of a particularly familiar-looking car just inside. The real-life-size DeLorean with the vanity license plate OUTATIME was straight out of Back to the Future, and it, like the rest of the café, took us back to our childhoods.
Blue Bottle Coffee in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
By Summar Ghias

The three-foot-tall slow drip devices at Blue Bottle make you feel as if you're in a very caffeinated and aromatic lab.
Coffee turned science experiment? That’s pretty much the vibe at Blue Bottle Coffee in Williamsburg, where three-foot-tall glass globe slow-drip devices make an iced coffee at precisely 88 drops per minute. It’s enough to get a nerdy coffee lover excited. And, I was.

Finding My Spring Hair Look with Celeb Stylist Francky L’Official
By Summar Ghias
My hair was tired of being my own personal blanket. Winter may be over but my tresses were still dry, my ends were splitting and it had grown like crazy since my last cut way back in October. I wanted to go the trendy route for a change, so I pulled up a picture of blunt bangs courtesy of Nicole Richie, and enlisted in master celeb stylist Francky L’Official for help.
Chrysta Wilson tells us to “Kiss My Bundt” this Valentine’s Day
Chrysta Wilson, is affectionately called the Bundt Babe for a reason.
Wilson, who founded the sassy LA bakery, Kiss my Bundt, in August 2008, proceeded to start her own baking academy and introductory class before creating a custom cookbook specifically on the art of bundt baking. Wilson caught the bundt bug early; her baking escapades with her Aunt Dia sparked a love for pound cake as much as it did the bundt pan it was made in. She shares this love in her new Kiss My Bundt cookbook, released this past November, with over 60 recipes dedicated to the cake.
Wilson likens the fluted edges and ridges of her moist cakes to a woman with all the right curves, and with recipes ranging from vegan red velvet to a savory mac and cheese, we hope we can maintain our right curves post baking and consumption.
