Backstage at the Peter Som show was one of my favorites so far. MAC’s Tom Pecheux used inspiration from the 60s and Twiggy to create these deep violet and burgundy eyes, and the geniuses at Wella Professionals created these very urban rose gold and amethyst highlights that walk a fine balance between edgy and romantic:
I’m seriously loving the highlights that were places so strategically and subtley in the models’ hair. And speaking with Tom Pecheux about how much he loves violet on the eyes makes me want to start using it more — it looks so beautiful on any eye color! They mixed their Fig. 1 and Indian Ink shadows to achieve the deep purple, or “strong pastel” as Pecheux calls it.
