3 Staples backstage at the Fashion Shows

After going to enough shows backstage, there were a few things I started to notice were staples on the tables of the makeup artists. Here are three of them:

1) The BeautyBlender Sponge. I’ve written about this magical sponge before but I swear I saw it at every single show used by makeup artists blot foundation on the models’ faces.

2) Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentrè. Also known as the “miracle cream.” I first found out about this from makeup extraordinaire, James Vincent, who touted its skin softening benefits. Skin drinks it up and turns supple in no time.

3) Baby wipes. It’s true.

It’s a triple-whammy: Wipes the face clean, erases makeup errors, and can also be a savior in case anything blemishes those precious clothes!
