Dove’s new deodorant that minimizes dark marks

in which I report which deodorant I’m currently using. TMI at its best, people!

Dove Clear Tone

If you have issues with dark marks on your underarms, check out Dove’s newest: Clear Tone Skin Renew deodorant. Basically those little red bumps and dryness you get from shaving? This is what you need. Since shaving leads to moisture loss, which in turn leads to dryness and inflammation (Dove found that this affects about 32 million women in the US!), it’s hard to keep that area hydrated and smooth.

So, this deodorant is formulated with calendula, sunflower seed extracts, and moisturizers to help soothe and even out skin tone. In their own studies, nine out of ten women reported that they noticed a difference in their skin.

It’s one of my favorite deodorants just for its wetness protection/powder fresh smell alone. I’m picky with what I put on my underarms since my skin can be randomly sensitive too. Remember, this to help soothe irritated skin due to bumps from shaving. If you’re looking for a deodorant that’s geared more to “brighten” in case you have darker underarms, there’s DermaDoctor’s Total Nonscents Ultra-Gentle Brightening Antiperspirant ($28). The only thing is I didn’t feel like this had the best wetness protection, and it has a rollerball application that goes slightly liquid-ey. But that’s another option!

Dove’s Clear Tone ($7) is available at mass retailers.
